"My overall experience fighting for Lou Neglia and ROC was great! I broke into professional MMA with Ring of Combat in November of 2011 and through my time with ROC I compiled at 7-0 record, a lightweight title and a title defense. It really could not have gone any better. Lou was as supportive and gracious in regard to the [UFC] call. He congratulated [me] and wished me the best. I still attend as many ROC events and we maintain a very good relationship."

"I loved and still love ROC it's the best regional promotion out there. It prepared me for the UFC. My best memory from ROC was winning that light heavy weight belt before waking out to the cage feeling and feeding off the energy of the crowd, #teamtruck always packed the house. While I was with ROC I had a buzz that UFC was interested in me mainly BC of my great teammates Chris Weidman and AL Iaquinta they both were doing great I had to keep winning and training then I got the call to be on the ultimate fighter season 19 which I won. Lou Neglia is the man he always believed in me he said from my first amateur fight for ROC if I keep working hard and listen to Ray Longo I would make it to the UFC he was right!" - Eddie Gordon()
"My overall experience was a great one fighting for Lou and Ring of Combat. I feel that I was brought along and matched fairly in my bouts. I had a few very tough fights which prepared me for my future in the sport. The after party at Providence in the Tropicana is always a great time. Lou makes sure everyone is taken care of and everyone parties together. It brings everyone together after the fight and shows what the MMA community is all about. I tried out for the Ultimate fighter. Made it through the tryouts and was asked to be on the show. It was a great opportunity for me and I know that my fights in ROC prepared me to put on great performances while in the house. Lou was very happy that I had been asked to be on TUF and was being given the chance to prove I belonged in the UFC." - Al Iaquinta(UFC)
"ROC is very organized. I knew in advance who I was fighting, when I should be in AC and they even told me where to do my Medicals so I can do Everything in one place.
My best memory from fighting in ROC is the fact that everyone that worked for Neglia was so helpful and friendly, always willing to help.
One day my manager called and offered me a short notice fight for the UFC. When I asked Neglia not only he released me from my contact he was happy for me for getting a shot at the big show." - Costas Philippou()
Lou Neglia is a stand up guy and a good friend of mine. Prior to the UFC, I only fought in Lou's promotions. He always treated me great and a real solid guy with my fighters. He has the best up and coming show on the east coast!

Matt Serra(Former UFC Champion)
"One of the premiere organizations not only across the country but especially here in new jersey. It's been great for east coast fighters to showcase their talents. Great platform for guys to make a name for themselves and get into the UFC. Frankie Perez is the latest ROC alumni to make it to the big show and I expect Max Bohanan (current ROC fighter) to follow right behind him.
Lou's been a great guy and supporter of MMA. Being a former fighter himself, he knows what it takes to get guys to the top and he's helped a lot of guys out tremendously." - Frankie Edgar(UFC)
Ring of combat is the best fighting organization in the world at getting fighters ready for the UFC. I had some of my toughest fights of my career in the Ring of Combat which gave me the experience of fighting the best. "I wouldn't be where I am today without Lou Neglia and his Ring of Combat.
